We have an active Parents’ Association who work closely with teachers to provide the best possible opportunities for all the children attending our school. The A.G.M. of the Parents’ Association takes place in January or February every year. All parents and guardians of children attending the school are invited to attend. A Parents’ Committee is elected at the A.G.M. and is responsible for the running of the association during the following year.
The association communicates with the school through meetings between the chairperson/secretary and the Principal Teacher or Home School Community Liaison Teacher, particularly after a Parents’ Association general or committee meeting. The Parent Association provides support in the provision of resources, financial support and could provide assistance in extra-curricular areas.
Mrs Jane Toland is currently Chairperson of the Parents’ Association and Louise Chambers Treasurer.
